This session is designed for both individuals new to their role in ICD-10 coding and those who have some experience but need to further their ICD-10 coding knowledge.

In this 2-day workshop, attendees will:

  • Review ICD-10 CM basics including navigating ICD-10 coding books.
  • Review ICD-10 coding guidelines.
  • Review using documentation to support ICD-10 coding.
  • Review of selection of principal/primary diagnosis
