For one flat fee the facility may have an unlimited number of participants viewing the webinar on one computer/device.  Please be aware that you will receive only 1 log-in credential per registration, if more than one log-in credential is needed for CEUs, viewing purposes, etc., a separate registration will need to be submitted and invoiced accordingly.

This 6-week webinar series is designed to provide participants with insight into the roles and functions of an effective restorative nursing program in skilled nursing facilities. Our team of expert presenters offers practical strategies for using restorative programming to obtain optimal care delivery, resident outcomes, compliant documentation, and accurate reimbursement for restorative services.

June 29 – Implementing a Successful Restorative Program and Overcoming Common Barriers
July 6 – Restorative Reimbursement: Systems for MDS Coding & Case Mix Accuracy
July 13 – Restorative Staff Training & Competencies
July 20 – Restorative Care Planning and IDT Roles

July 27 - Restorative Documentation, Periodic Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Strategies

Presenters:

Eleisha Wilkes, RN, GERO-BC, RAC-CT, DNS-CT,

RN Clinical Consultant with Proactive Medical Review & Consulting, LLC.

Eleisha Wilkes is a Board Certified Gerontological Nurse and AANAC certified MDS consultant with over twenty years of experience in long term care.

She has served as a Director of Nursing, Case Manager and Resident Assessment Coordinator with extensive responsibility and success in driving QA in the areas of person-centered assessment and care planning through effective systems, staff development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.

 

Nancy Casperd, BSN, RN, CHC

RN Clinical Consultant with Proactive Medical Review & Consulting, LLC. 

Nancy has over 25 years of experience in the long-term care industry. She began as a nursing assistant and went on to serve in various leadership positions, including DON, Regional Director of Clinical Operations and most recently a Divisional Compliance Officer for a large Senior Car Organization. Nancy has always strived for a person-centered approach when caring for this unique population, and in each of her roles the priority has been resident and staff advocacy. She is also certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) focusing on Medicare and regulatory compliance, as well as risk management.
